PRESS RELEASE

ONE of the region’s leading oil and gas event organiser’s will be staging the next installment of its highly successful New Zealand Oil & Gas Exhibitions in New Plymouth in 2011.

Swan Exhibitions, which has been running the New Zealand Oil & Gas Expo for almost 20 years, is again predicting strong industry participation when it holds the 2011 event at the TSB Stadium in New Plymouth on August 10 and 11, 2011.

“Our record of staging quality oil and gas exhibitions in New Zealand for almost two decades ensures that exhibitors and attendees at next year’s event will be participating in a proven, quality, oil and gas show,” Swan Exhibitions’ managing director, Shaun Smith said.

Mr Smith said New Zealand remains an attractive destination for international explorers and developers and the government’s recent show of strong support for the industry will be reflected in another successful New Zealand Oil & Gas Expo in 2011.

“New Zealand’s prospectivity was recently confirmed when Brazilian oil and gas giant Petrobras recently acquired an exploration permit off the coast of the North Island,” Mr Smith said.

Well known New Zealand oil and gas service providers such as EagleBurgman, Electropar, Grimwood Heating, ITL, JLE Management Systems, Offshore Solutions, Parker Hannifin, Tyco Flow Control and Yokogawa are amongst those who have already confirmed their support for the 2011 Exhibition, with a number of key players in discussions to participate in what has been long regarded as one of New Zealand’s premier oil and gas events.

The 2011 New Zealand Oil & Gas Exhibition will be staged alongside a world class conference, which will be held at the TSB Stadium on August 10.

The 2011 Conference will feature updates on New Zealand’s oil and gas developments from a range of leading industry and government representatives.
